I believe the main problem occurs when I play Witcher 3 on my GTX 1060, where there are no usage drops, although the frame rate is significantly lower. In contrast, my RTX 2070 tends to stutter and cause frequent drops. Could this indicate an issue with my RTX or a compatibility problem in my setup?
But... My RTX only supports HDMI and DP connections, while both my monitors are DVI-only. The screen I captured was actually my TV since it was the only device with display port. Maybe I'll attempt to connect it via HDMI later.
I've been using just one screen for a while now, but it still stutters occasionally.
It doesn't seem like a universal reason, but it's worth trying. At least we're not alone.
Playing through the HDMI port appears to have resolved the issue. It worked even when settings were maximized, despite capped FPS which previously caused problems. It's unclear whether the problem was with the Display Port or the conversion to DVI. Also, it might be related to using a regular power outlet instead of a power strip.
