Hello sinsic, and welcome. I ran a test and it’s not due to fake hardware like Spudwell. I used this video where I turned off docp and set bios to default. It was 1440p ultra settings with hub/optimized. The CPU sped up to 25-30, and the GPU hit 100% (not around 50%). In the video, average was 45, with a minimum of 30-35 in ultra. Optimized settings gave 80/85 average and 90 average, with CPU around 5GHz. That’s solid performance. The issue seems to be with PUBG and how it uses the GPU. (Maybe CPU bottlenecking the GPU?) It could just be PUBG or possibly a problem with our hardware. My graphics card is the same as yours — B550 TUF gaming plus BIOS 1401. I cleared all programs, set power to performance, turned off GSSYNC... I think we should contact PUBG support and share our setup details. I looked again...

Updated my ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3080 OC with Skill Trident Z Neo and RGB lighting. The 32GB DDR4 RAM at 3600MHz was installed, but performance didn’t improve. It seems the issue might be related to a game or NVIDIA driver rather than the CPU itself.

I agree with others who have similar CPUs and still achieve good FPS. It seems options like PUGB, NVIDIA, or motherboard choices work well. Some videos show people using matching CPU and GPU without issues. I won’t install 1801 just yet. I’ll wait for updates and check PubG support later. Also, I found this article about optimal settings: https://pubgsettings.com/pubg-best-settings/

Consider a more experienced driver. Thank you for your assistance—I pay another CPU, especially for PUBG at a minimum of 144 Hz.

Hello, I’m just playing a game at 200fps. If you’re always here, I’ll keep it steady. I’m not sure what’s best, but it works for me.

For a thorough clean setup, sometimes files become damaged, permissions get misconfigured, or parts of the game fail to install properly. To resolve this, we must fully remove PUBG and related items.

1. Uninstall PUBG
2. Open your Steam library
3. Click on PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS and choose Uninstall
4. A window will appear asking for confirmation—select Delete
5. Remove any linked files
6. Press Windows Key+R
7. Type %localappdata% and press Enter or OK
8. Delete the folder TslGame
9. Go to Program Files (x86)\Common Files\BattlEye and remove BEService_pubg.exe
10. Reinstall the game via Steam, ensuring FLUSH DNS is done

For Windows safety, run DDU in safe mode. Install the latest driver for your graphics card without using GeForce Experience. If issues persist, verify your BIOS settings—some users find a BIOS version 1401 more stable than the latest.
