Therefore, my dislike for the MOBA scene is clear. I’m unsure why these games are so much more prone to trolling—maybe they’re designed to push players into aggressive behavior, and features meant to stop piracy just don’t work as intended. It’s infuriating. I’ve never encountered an FPS community as toxic as LoL or DotA’s. Now, let's talk about the main point. It’s a blend of people who rush orders without thinking, developers and publishers using questionable tactics to fight piracy and greed, plus the reality that we live in a patch-heavy era. That’s why even games like Witcher 3, which reportedly won GotY, often come with major bugs and glitches from launch or early on. Finding a polished triple-A title with almost no issues is rare nowadays.
And since everyone buys everything and preorders all the DLCs, we’re already to blame. Halt preorders, stop buying small DLCs, and that’ll fix it. I still remember when demos were standard in PC gaming—those days are gone.
Video games represent a major industry with strict timelines, where massive titles require teams of hundreds over several years. Not every issue can be solved right away. I’m uncertain if modern games have more challenges than in the past—some do—but fixing problems is now simpler and more frequent, which justifies updating errors that couldn’t be resolved before launch or after release.
Yes, not all issues can be solved. I’m fine with that. Problems in our faces are something we can handle. CDRed made a big mistake. Regardless of how great Witcher 3 is or isn’t, they spent a lot of time talking nonsense about the PC version. I don’t trust them blindly. We can’t rely on any developer. No matter who they are.
