Analyzing COD similar to what @don_svetlio said doesn't make much sense since it keeps being unreliable. However, those who pre-order can also negatively impact the gaming industry. Don't focus on the developers; the real responsibility lies with the publishers.
But it's a three-year-old COD game. They cease support nearly right away when the latest version drops, and they ignore the fixes since they must focus on the upcoming release. Their reply would be "just grab the newest one."
Observe closely—no action in the game, just random frame drops. It’s really frustrating! The 75Hz VSync is making things worse.
No one disputes your argument about shitting optimization. We’re just noting that the developers seem unlikely to make any changes right now. Particularly Ghost, which is considered one of the weaker COD games, has no incentive to improve it. Is there a modding scene in CoD?
It's not often I express this, but the new Call of Duty is genuinely impressive. It feels more enjoyable than the earlier titles, and it offers a wealth of content. The story mode is engaging, multiplayer is top-notch (the best in years), and the zombie mode is surprisingly great. Black Ops 3 really revived my confidence in the franchise.
Yup tried the beta and considered returning after years... until the 12-year-olds started trash-talking again, hehe. The Blops sub-franchise/arc stands out as the top pick in CoD following the original Modern Warfare.
Yeah the community is quite horrible, but to be fair I've already got used to it. I played league, dota2 and csgo a lot and these are probably the worst communities ever. Especially csgo is horrible. Once you played csgo, CoD community suddenly doesn't even seem so bad
CSGO casual isn't great, but the comps are fine. I don't often get called out or trolled in CSGO. During the blops 3, no matter my rank, people kept finding ways to insult me. Even worse, when I ignored them, those attention-seeking players got more aggressive and messed up the game
I spent nearly 2k hours on CSGO, reached supreme in matchmaking... the CSGO community is definitely one of the worst groups of trolls, racists and sexists out there. I don’t know any game that’s worse than CSGO. But maybe it’s just how I’ve experienced it.
) I gave up after a bunch of bad matches that led to a 7-Day ban. The same group kept showing up and messing with my games back in November. Maybe things got worse. Also, the PC CoD scene isn’t as strong as the console versions. Guess I’m just not cut out for this anymore.
4k hours... that was a real letdown, Nazi bitch! (Just kidding
