In poor context, these individuals have the funds to produce outstanding creations. Instead, we encounter a game similar to COD GHOSTS, requiring roughly three times the hardware power for virtually no visual improvement over its previous version. This is how the game appears on a GTX 580 with smooth playback. Now this same setup can handle titles like Battlefield 4—though it may be shaky—but it maintains good visuals. My CPU limits my recording speed, making BF4 feel slower than usual, and I lose about half my frames just from capturing it. Still, it’s a valid observation. Larger projects offer better graphics and performance, but numbers don’t always tell the whole story. COD GHOSTS is a frustrating experience for no apparent reason.
I totally understand. When you place a pre-order, you're essentially saying "I don’t care about functionality, optimization, story quality, or gameplay—just my cash upfront."
Since customers keep purchasing the titles without much criticism, it's worth noting why we're relying on COD ghosts for comparison. Most people clearly thought the game was poor.
Using an old game from three years is often chosen for comparison because it highlights the challenges developers face. It reflects the pressure to deliver quickly, the expectations of fans for fresh content, and the constraints imposed by producers or managers who push for faster releases. Everyone shares some responsibility—consumers demand instant results, while developers need time and resources to ensure quality. The result is a cycle where speed often takes precedence over perfection.
It could be that it’s only been three years, yet I still think it’s a good gift from a friend on Steam. I was hoping it would work smoothly, just like the other COD games I’ve played—Black Ops 1 had some problems but they were resolved. Now, after so long, this game isn’t fixed at all; it feels like they gave up trying.
