Use Speedtest.net instead of just Windows. It gives a rough idea of your current data usage, but it doesn't reflect the actual speed your ISP can provide.

0.79 Gbps translates to roughly 0.79 megabits per second, while 2.99 Mbps is about 2.99 megabits per second. Adding units helps clarify the actual speeds.

It's okay if things aren't perfect; knowing your ISP's services gives a solid reference point. Be mindful of WiFi usage as it can slow things down. Restarting network drivers might help, and using a Cat 5e or 6 cable for Ethernet is recommended for home connections.
