It’s time to go over this subject again while I wait for AMD’s reply. I’m wondering if anyone has real warranty stories about this issue with their devices. In my RMA submission, I mentioned using DOCP to set the memory speed to 3200MHz without much thought, and I hadn’t noticed the videos from a few months back. It never felt like I was planning to buy a new computer or get replacement parts. My 5950X seemed to have a defective or very weak memory controller right out of the box, and I experienced odd problems even before adjusting the memory profile.
The RAM capacity can be challenging to manage when exceeding 3000MHz across multiple sticks with minimal latency.
HyperX Fury 128GB (4x32GB included) running at 3200MHz HX432C16FB3K4/128. The motherboard is an Asus Crosshair VIII Dark Hero I. Previously, I managed to avoid memtest errors at 2400MHz on the second memory slot when others had cleared their drives, but now it consistently works across all slots no matter my setup or drive count.
RAM stability after overclocking depends on several factors like the IMC, motherboard, and power supply. With 8 ranks and all four slots occupied, you're likely in a poor condition. The Crosshair Hero VIII and 5950X can manage it if the power is very stable and clean. What type of PSU are you using?

You might only need to adjust the voltages slightly for stability. All components should function properly.
I experimented with the SoC voltage, keeping it below 1.2V. It initially helped a bit with one stick, but not now. Should I also consider the DRAM voltage? The DOCP was set to 1.35V by default. I thought memory controller and SoC voltage would be the main factors here.
I went through several thousand configurations before finding one that actually worked. It kept restarting frequently and had kernel errors. The last stable version was the third 5900x, and I haven’t experienced any reboots in more than three weeks. The board is an ASRock B550 Phantom Gaming ITX with 3600 C16 RAM (single rank, 2x16GB). People suggest boosting the DRAM voltage, but it didn’t help me.
It's true that running high clock speeds can be risky. I'm worried about the potential costs if things go wrong. I've also been struggling to find a suitable graphics card, even though I'm invested in this project.
