The Radeon RX 7900 GRE is actually a great pick right now, especially if you want to play with overclocking your RAM. You might end up getting performance that's almost as fast as an RX 7900 XT or even the RX 9070 on its own. If not for those upgrades, then a 7800 XT is totally fine too.

Even though that memory has a slow speed limit on the QVL list, I'm pretty sure it'll work fast enough to run at 3600 MT/s because the motherboard supports it anyway.

The specs page lists Vermeer at $3,200. Support isn't available there. You can check if you want to get 3600 and buy that instead.
