VM for two windows to work on editing
I modified the text to convey the same idea. The process needs GPU support for vGPU technology, including PCI IOMMU, and the Linux approach is the only option for consumer GPUs. It often demands workarounds such as hiding the hypervisor on the host, especially with NVIDIA cards—KVM might be an alternative in some scenarios. I don't know if Hyper-V offers similar features like passing a custom EFI bios, which is needed in certain cases. Edited January 19, 2019 by Guest
You can replace consumer GPUs on Windows Server using similar methods as Linux, and it also works with vGPU.
The details you're looking for seem tied closely to vGPU and ExpressFX, even in official Microsoft resources. If they aren't covered there, it might not be documented in that format.
