Thanks for the update, I'm trying to figure out if the Type C port works for video output. I haven't found any clear information about it.

Uncertain about where others are gathering details on these boards, the maker doesn’t reference DP Alt mode or Thunderbolt for USB Type-C ports, meaning video won’t be sent through them. Additionally, the main purpose of the X570 is PCIe 4.0 compatibility; weigh that benefit against the extra cost of around $100.

Are there alternative methods to get video output from those boards without HDMI? Of course, besides purchasing a GPU. If it's not an X570, what options exist? Could an X470 or B450 work?

There exist over 5700 boards featuring HDMI, including models like the Taichi, which offers excellent value for its price on X570 systems.

Here are the two options I have in my area: MSI MPG X570 GAMING EDGE WIFI and MSI MPG X570 GAMING PRO CARBON WIFI. The main distinction between them is whether they include HDMI or not—one has HDMI while the other does not. The other two models (MSI MEG X570 ACE and MSI MEG X570 UNIFY) also lack HDMI but support SLI or Crossfire.

It was a great job you put in. I’d have expected otherwise.
