I saved a tool that verifies your device drivers. It attempted to fetch an internet driver update but encountered an issue, failing at around 99%. You’ll need to reinstall the update manually or check for alternative drivers. The program is pointing to "Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 8265" but got stuck—consider restarting your PC and ensuring you have a stable internet connection.

You might do this to achieve a specific goal or outcome. It helps ensure clarity and purpose in your actions.

For another reason, I don’t believe the program is infected and the website passed Google’s safety check. Still, what should I do next?

It wouldn't be wise to use these tools; most are just adware that do unwanted things. The simplest approach is: Right Click on your start button, Click Device Manager, Open the Network Adapter section, Right click on your adapter (e.g., 'Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 8265'), Select Update Driver, and Click Search automatically for updated driver software. Windows should locate and install the correct driver. For network drivers, these programs aren't necessary—they often don't help and Windows usually installs the best one.

Windows ran into an issue installing the device drivers. It detected drivers but hit an error during installation. (Intel ® Dual Band Wireless-AC 8265). This happened because the time limit ran out. If you understand your device's maker, you can check their support site for available drivers. Would you like advice on downloading them from a laptop via USB?

I would obtain the drivers directly from Intel themselves, as they tend to be more current than Windows Update.

If Windows doesn’t install the driver, you can attempt to download it directly from Gigabyte. Ensure you choose the appropriate Windows version. If that fails, you may need to uninstall the existing drivers before proceeding. I can provide step-by-step guidance for doing so if necessary.

The image shows he's employing a Gigabyte WLAN card, meaning he needs their drivers. The Intel drivers could be the problem.

It appears as a Gigabyte WiFi adapter, though these devices connect via PCIe to mini PCIe using a typical Intel mini PCIe card. The original Intel drivers should work, probably updated.
