Hey everyone, I just upgraded my PC to AM5 and set everything up. After enabling XMP, booting took a long time—sometimes over five minutes. At first I thought the RAM wasn’t working with XMP, but later I realized it was using my XMP profile. It took so long to reach BIOS and train the RAM. Once it worked, Windows showed the 5600MHz RAM speed. Is there a fix for this issue? It seems to be specific to newer platforms, especially compared to my older 8700K build where the problem didn’t occur. Thanks for any advice!

RAM training is standard for AM5 chips, but it usually occurs just once during the first boot or after resetting the CMOS. Some boards experienced repeated problems—consider updating to the latest BIOS that addresses these issues.

I was also thinking that way, but I made sure my bios was kept up to date. I learned from others about comparable problems and considered swapping the board, though I didn’t want to go through that process.

Review the discussion to see if turning on the "Memory Context Restore" feature resolves your issue.
