Do they include a USB keyboard and mouse? Verify that all USB support settings are activated in BIOS, and ensure the devices are connected to USB 2.0 ports. USB 3.0 functionality will be available once you install the appropriate motherboard drivers in Windows.

your motherboard supports 4x usb 3.0 and 2x usb 3.1 ports. the flash drive you're using seems to be running at 2.0 speed, which might affect performance.

Test them briefly to see how they behave. It's frustrating, yet necessary. If available, case headers might help with USB2 connections.
