This MOBO uses an AM4 chipset, so I updated the BIOS, restarted the PC several times, and even tried shutting it down multiple times. It worked initially. However, today when I tried to boot it again, the problem returned more strongly—now the PC won’t proceed past the ASUS logo at all, regardless of how many times I restart it.

Reach out to Asus for assistance. The Numlock indicator typically appears during startup.

Yes I contacted ASUS, got bot support, which was useless, somehow got in contact with a person(I think, im not sure if it wasnt AI) who said that my board is out of warranty so we can't give online support and I'll have to ship my MOBO to an ASUS repair shop bearing all the charges and not just the repairs which upto 60$to 100$. The numlock key and other keys do turn on and off. This is a major issue, founds recent posts(3 to 5 days old) on most forums with the same or similar issues for the ASUS Prime B450M-A motherboard, here are some of the links, https://www.reddit.com/r/ASUS/comments/15hy5uy/ ^ this mentions something about Nvidia GPU drivers messing with bios https://www.reddit.com/r/ASUS/comments/1..._bad_bios/ https://www.reddit.com/r/PcBuildHelp/com..._my_build/

The system cycles through locking and unlocking Numlock, right? Are you running a dedicated graphics card?

Same problem appears again, likely due to the latest Realtek audio driver or a conflict between Nvidia and Realtek graphics drivers. The issue occurs with both 4002 and 4202 models. I resolved it by uninstalling the Display Driver Uninstaller in Safe Mode and updating the Realtek audio driver to version 6.0.8955.1 from ASUS.

You're experiencing issues with your discrete GPU and audio setup. It seems the driver version listed might be outdated or incorrect—checking the original source or contacting the manufacturer could help locate the proper driver for your specific model.

Loading the old driver didn't solve the issue. My PC is still slow until I get a new graphics card, thanks ASUS.
