USB connections and online access cease until a restart occurs.
Is there a solution to this problem? I faced this issue with my PC for a month until I updated the BIOS. Afterward, it didn’t work properly for some time. Recently, my computer has been shutting off USB devices and internet unexpectedly while playing games. I lose connection to my keyboard, headphones, and wireless controller, whether wired or wireless. Only my mouse functions normally during these moments, which lets me navigate back to the home screen to restart. The PC restarts at most once per boot, and simply turning it off doesn’t restore power or internet. I have to force a restart to bring it back. Additionally, the wireless controller adapter shows an LED indicating it’s on, even after shutdown, while my keyboard goes completely dark until I restart—just like other devices. I haven’t found any similar threads online, so I’m really confused. I don’t know what changed in the past week that triggered this again. No drivers have been updated or anything different has been done on my machine. Any advice would be extremely helpful. My system: Windows 11, RTX 4090, Ryzen 7950x, G-series, DDR5 6000, 32GB, MSI MPG A1000g, PCIe 5, Asus ROG Strix B650E-F.
Did you link your external devices via the motherboard USB or the cabinet USB? Occasionally the system fails to recognize the USB cable attached to the motherboard and simply leaves it unpowered. Verify your connections and ensure they’re secure. Also review your BIOS settings.
I'll give it a shot. It's puzzling why it sometimes functions at 80% and then shuts down with my internet, only working again after a restart. Please let me know if this resolves the issue. Thank you!
