Dears, yes, I know that this is one of those questions that you probably receive on a weekly basis and yes, I have used forum search function and found bunch of similar topics but to my defense non of them resulted in a solution. So, my apologies if such topic will be repeated once again, but I am struggling to find any valuable info on this issue online so you are my only hope. I have quite strange behavior from my PC Intel WiFi adapter. I am getting extremely slow internet upload speeds in comparison to download (see attached). I have ran speed test on several different websites and results remains consistent. I know that upload speed usually is slower of two but not that much. Just as a sanity check I have ran same speed tests on my laptop and results was about 500+ Mbps download and 430+ Mbps upload speed (which is expected for my internet subscription plan). I have tried same test with friends MacBook (on WiFi) and speeds was fine too. I have already tried connecting my PC in question directly vie ethernet cable and speeds was off. I have manually updated Wifi adapter drivers with no results. Can you give a hint on what possible can cause similar issues? Thank you in advance. Edited January 28, 2021 by Shkacas

Try installing on a USB drive, then boot from a live ISO of Linux Mint (which looks similar to Windows). Perform your DSL speed test again. If the outcomes match, the problem is hardware-related; if they differ as expected, it’s likely a software issue.
You're welcome! It might seem complex at first, but I'm here to help. Good luck!
Thanks for the help. I’ve discovered very clear steps for installing Linux Mint on a USB and booting from it. I’ll update you on the outcome. Appreciate your support!
