I rely on Acronis True Image for comprehensive HDD backups, though I usually handle individual files instead.

A fresh setup was completed on device 2, and all three units are experiencing identical issues.

I haven't experienced any crashes, freezes, or slow performance. Some of these computers run older Core2Duo versions, and I won't install anything newer than that. They should work with at least 4GB of RAM.

Create two copies of the partitions on the HDD and upgrade one of them.

most cloning projects will create a complete HDD backup as one file or several files that you can open with the software. I use an external 4TB drive to safeguard clients’ HDDs. After installing the updated OS, I transfer the files back to the HDD the client requires.

The main problem is I don’t have anything else except a laptop at the moment. Almost everything is stored away.

I believe it might need some time, as this hotel's so-called "fast" Wi-Fi is really disappointing.

I'd hold off. My laptop runs Windows 10 and my desktop is working fine except for some random wake-ups from sleep. The wireless card drivers on my desktop are gone, so I'm switching back to Windows 8.1. I think it's best to wait.
