My MSI Tomahawk Max and Arctic Freezer 34 are both running at full performance, reaching 4.2 with maximum power usage enabled.

You can observe how much you can achieve through experimentation. However, Ryzen models come with limited space from the start and are already near their capacity. Just turning on PBO should work well.

The CPU is already working hard at its maximum capacity, so it’s not a good idea anymore. The degradation feels quite unsettling to me... I’d look at that video at 19:25.
