Hello everyone. I own a Ryzen 5900X and an Asus Crosshair Hero VIII motherboard. I was using a G.Skill Trident Z 32GB (2x16GB) 3200MHz DDR4 kit for this setup. I upgraded my RAM to the GSKill Trident Z Neo RGB 32GB (2x16GB) 3600MHz model to boost performance in tasks like AutoCAD, Solid, Photoshop, and Lightroom. My question is: Was this upgrade the right decision? There are also 4000MHz kits available. Some users mention issues at that speed, saying a 1:1 ratio works best. I’ve heard Ryzen processors perform better with single-sided or double-sided sticks in 4 modules. If I add another 2x16GB 3600MHz RAM later, will my performance drop? Thank you for your advice.
