These are two-sided dual-rank dimms. What I’m talking about is that 32Gb I/O cards are 32GB single-sided units and 64GB dual-sided dual-rank cards. If you go with quad-rank, it puts extra strain on the IMX, causing lower performance and clock speeds compared to dual or single ranks, which could hurt DDR5 future-proofing. Possibly 64Gb I/O will appear later in DDR5 devices, but that might take a few years, while 32Gb could be available in just a few months.
