You’re facing performance issues with your current setup, especially when playing newer games. You could upgrade only the CPU if it’s the bottleneck, but a faster GPU or a better motherboard might be needed for optimal results. Since you’re already at 99% GPU usage and achieving around 60fps, consider checking other components like RAM, storage speed, or even a more powerful motherboard if possible.

It seems you're looking to boost your system's performance. The CPU you currently have works well for its price, but upgrading the GPU could provide a significant improvement.

You might attempt to boost your CPU's speed. It should hit a minimum of 4GHz.

You’re clearly planning a graphics card improvement. Adding 16 GB of RAM would be a smart move too.

Uncertain about upgrading the GPU? I attempted overclocking but it just restarts everything. (Warning, I’m still learning)

The 4770K will only be matched by the 4790K, but you won’t notice major improvements. The main change is better overclocking on the 4790K. There are many upgrade guides on YouTube. Could you share your current PC specs and how much you’re willing to invest? Also, please confirm so we can review your answers.

I just installed a new graphics card, a Radeon RX 560, because we’re on a tight budget with four kids.

Tell me about your current graphics setup: card model, monitor specs (resolution and refresh rate), and budget. This helps tailor suggestions to your needs.

The monitor was a present, and I don’t know its details. I just play one title: Ring of Elysium.

The RX 560 offers limited power; for a cost-effective upgrade, consider the used RX 570.
