I noticed I already use Malwarebytes—it really helps and has protected me several times. That discussion was mainly about exploring better options for future updates. Sticking to just one setup for too long might create vulnerabilities, so it’s wise to regularly reassess your security measures.

Looking closely, it looks like the problem is likely an aging i5 3350P. My usage spikes when opening browser tabs and especially when other apps are running. I notice significant fluctuations during multitasking.
