Update BIOS Settings
Update BIOS Settings
The instructions don't specify any particular steps, so it seems the process isn't required. It's recommended to prepare the system using a flash drive for safety, as updating the BIOS can cause issues if not done properly.
It seems the file should be placed at the top of the file system, not inside a folder. FAT32 is a common format for this purpose. The process involves renaming the file so the BIOS identifies it correctly, then copying it to the flash drive that uses FAT32 formatting. The motherboard BIOS should then detect it properly.
I set the drive to FAT32, a random 8GB SanDisk pen drive was just for testing. The BIOS should match your motherboard, which is version 4401 TUF B450M Plus Gaming. It seems to be showing up correctly now.
