The final postponement occurred 27 days prior to launch, and it continued to exceed that mark without further delay.

They won't skip any deadlines, even when launch is near. Don't assume rockstars can always deliver on time.

I question if they'll keep postponing. I believe they simply can't afford it.

They could handle it just fine by removing the game from PC altogether. I caught some whispers about another postponement for May, but I didn’t dig into it much. Probably best we’ll have to wait and see what Rockstar officially says. Here’s a timeline that might be useful.

I strongly suspect they won't postpone once more. I was aware of the schedule, and I've been a GTA enthusiast since the debut of Vice City, keeping close track of GTA V.

Given the repeated delays, it seems likely they can't be trusted.

Absolutely, I’m confident the game will perform well on my setup until I can upgrade my GPU. It should also handle Crossfire properly, which is important since GTA IV doesn’t support it at all. I remember loving GTA V on consoles while it was available, and after seeing the latest trailer, I knew it would be released for PC too. I quickly sold all my console equipment within a week of that announcement.

Occasionally I revisit TBOGT... when my FPS lands between 20 and 50 on machines that require more power than the games need, I let out a little sigh :c Crossfire 7770 might handle it smoothly at reasonable settings, as long as R* doesn’t keep us in trouble again
