Confirmed BIOS reset performed. Checked both with and without XMP applied for RAM settings. Task manager shows per-core performance trends; possible bottlenecks may occur if one core hits its limit.

I've experimented with XMP both activated and disabled, but didn't observe any stability issues or bugs. It's possible the timing of adjusting XMP settings coincided with a system rebuild needed to resolve crashes. When I return to my PC, I'll test it again just in case. Edit: XMP was disabled, and I ran a benchmark on the beginning of the Hell on Earth level in DOOM Eternal, which reflects how I use my computer. It appears XMP has no noticeable effect. ALT+R opens the Radeon driver overlay in both cases, but still causes a black cursor. I'm considering upgrading to a new CPU and motherboard. Updated May 1, 2022 by JewelTK

Windows used the "(none)" cursor style, which meant it couldn't retrieve icons properly, often pulling random elements and creating a distorted cursor. Likely, aging contributed to this issue, so I upgraded the motherboard and CPU. This note is kept for anyone facing similar problems later. Adjust the settings in Control Panel → Hardware and Sound → Mouse to ensure a default scheme is selected.
