I recently checked my network overview in file explorer (Windows 10) and noticed something strange. There’s a device named "csm_radar" under the 'Computers' section. When double-clicked, it opens a properties window instead of showing a webpage. The manufacturer lists Amazon, and the model is AEORD. Most details are missing, only the MAC address appears. It seems unlikely anyone else would have access to my WiFi password. This makes me very confused—could you help clarify what this means? Any advice would be appreciated.

It seems you're referring to a device that resembles an Amazon Echo smart speaker, with a model number indicating it's made by Amazon.

I should have specified—my Amazon devices aren’t available. I only have Google Home and a Chromecast.

Instead of changing the MAC address, try using a different network or device to test connectivity issues. Some online tips point to Comcast internet or an Amazon Fire tablet as possible causes.

I investigated this, but the MAC address isn't listed in the DHCP connection list. Maybe I could attempt to blacklist it. Also, I don't use Comcast—I have FiOS instead. And I don't own a fire tablet, just plain old stuff.

It's wise to update your WiFi password for security reasons.

Oops, seems like I got mixed up with your network. I accidentally linked to your router. I'm ready to unplug it right away.

Add it to the MAC blacklist next. Switch your Wi-Fi password then, and turn off WPS if possible. (WPS can easily compromise most routers in about 24 hours.)

I just found out this gadget shows up and vanishes at random times. Not sure if it matters, but it's there.
