Fixed issue with an Asus mobo (Z270-P) and Logitech mouse (G900). The noise disappeared when connecting a generic wireless mouse, so the focus shifted to the mouse software. Reducing the polling rate from 1000 to 250 helped, though it changed pointer movement and required DPI adjustments. It occurs on my modern setup when the polling frequency is set to 2000Hz, it sounds clearer at 8000 and 1000Hz, but becomes unnoticeable at lower speeds. The USB devices might be the issue.
