Updated the procedure to switch the SSD into UEFI mode by disconnecting it, powering on without it, reconnecting, and then booting with the SSD. The issue now lies with the USB functionality.

The SSD boots from the UEFI boot mode during Windows installation. I've tried different approaches, including a guide from the site you shared: https://www.dell.com/community/Windows-G...-p/8031484. It seems the USB is detected in Secure Boot mode. The issue arises after the "Installing Updates" step, when the system displays a black screen. I've unplugged the USB before starting and checked if that resolves the problem, but it still shows "No bootable devices detected." This also happens in legacy mode with a different message. I've experienced restart loops with other methods, and everyone suggests plugging the USB out before it appears on the screen with the Dell logo. I'm unsure what to do next.

I found a setting in the BIOS called "SATA Operation" with four choices: "Disabled", "ATA", "AHCI" and "RAID On". Your current setting is "RAID On". For your SSD, like the Crucial MX500 500GB, you should switch it to "Disabled" or "ATA" to avoid conflicts. It might help since you previously had a hard drive and someone changed the setting.

Great news! I followed the steps in BIOS, changed the SATA settings to AHCI, and exited. Then I started from USB with Secure Boot enabled. The installation went smoothly after the first reboot, and Windows launched correctly in UEFI mode. I turned on TPM for extra security. The guide you shared helped a lot, and I’m glad it worked for me.
