Unable to generate video output from 3090
Hi, I'm stuck with my build too. Once everything is in place, the 3090 doesn't output anything video. Fans spin, RGB turns on, but nothing comes out from any port. I've tested various MoBo BIO versions without success. Using a GTX 1650 works fine—posting is smooth. I've installed the OS, mapped drives, updated drivers, etc., but it still doesn't function. I've used different cables, ports, and even tried connecting via another PC's PCIe slot. Some users suggest power cables might be the issue. I'm using three 6+2 pin PSU headers from my PSU. The GPU is fully functional on another machine. If anyone has faced similar problems or can assist, I'd really appreciate it. Parts list: CPU - AMD 7800X3D, MOBO - Asrock B650e Taichi Lite, GPU - MSI 3090, SupressX PSU, cooler master MWE v2 1050W. Thanks!
I haven't tested the 3090 in another system yet, and I don't have information about whether it's a used card.
Please send a clear picture of the GPU, ideally showing the PCI-E connector and build details. Also, include a photo of the thermal paste application if possible. Let me know if you've changed the thermal paste before. I recommend trying to clean the GPU contacts with an eraser, placing the 3090 on the second PCI-E slot with the 1650 in the first, and checking if it boots in the system manager. If it works, listen for a buzzer or beeper on the motherboard. It's important it boots successfully without any image display.
It's functional. Purchased it used and operated it on my work PC for six months without any problems.
Check if CSM is turned off in the BIOS and confirm Windows was installed via GPT.

After installing the OS, I simply connected the USB drive and followed the setup steps. The system was created with a GPT file, secure boot is active, and the original CSM value remains unchanged. I’m still unsure about its current setting.
No loose power cable or damaged PCI-E slot was found. It’s possible the GPU BIOS is faulty. That’s why I recommended using a dual-GPU boot setup. If your GPU supports dual BIOS, try that as well (silent or OC mode). Updated August 2, 2024 by cekcons add.
I placed the two drives into the suggested slots. I plan to remove the CMOS and attempt using a different version of MOBo BIOS.
