I encountered a similar problem: the application wouldn't launch, it wasn’t appearing within my list of hidden programs, and it wasn’t active in the task manager. I attempted several solutions without success. Ultimately, I conceived of a different approach. I reopened the task manager, located the Origin application (which was not running as previously indicated, requiring me to scroll down), and right-clicked on it before selecting "end task." Subsequently, I closed the task manager and attempted to open Origin again—it functioned flawlessly. I trust this information proves beneficial for others!
