Chromium functions with Netflix, but you must install Widevine separately. Regarding your problem, attempt to use the previous kernel version and ensure crashes don’t happen then. You don’t have to remove the current one; just regenerate grub.cfg if needed. If you manage to wait a few months, 5.4 will be an LTS release, which should offer better stability.

I have Ubutnu Mainline Kernel Installer set up. I reached Grub and chose Kernel 5.3.0, which seemed to function properly at first. There are also versions 5.3.1 and 5.3.2 available. It’s interesting how easily you can switch kernels. However, after restarting four times—three times while the power button was pressed—I’m not sure I can maintain that routine. I’m hoping kernel 5.3 continues to work. For now, I’ll skip further updates until I hear about version 5.4.

Updates coming soon. No interruptions yet, still using Chrome. Likely a kernel problem. Will check again if needed. Appreciate the support.
