I attempted to use that video and now it appears similar. I adjusted the hardware acceleration settings, but the other options only worsened the issue. 20200703_020130.mp4

I updated the Intel settings, swapped the choice to dri3. The system works fine now, but I’m still experiencing screen tearing. It seems there’s something else I should add to the configuration.

No, I don't think there are any suggestions to provide.

I'm running low on ideas, uxa just reverts to an older approach. It seems you're dealing with the unstable part of Intel drivers. The other option I have is to test a distribution that uses KDE Plasma as the desktop and turn on VSYNC in the Compositor. Check if your current setup has something similar. Meanwhile, you can delete the file /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/20-intel.conf with sudo.

I switched from uxa to sna and it worked perfectly! Thanks for the accelmethod tip—I wouldn’t have noticed it otherwise.

It was strange that SNA was supposed to be the default. Good to hear it's now working!
