I don’t care. They’re off Steam now.

It’s likely that many UBI staff members are not satisfied with the company’s comments about frame rates. Those working on the project understand the details better.

I’ll purchase Siege only if they maintain the level of destruction we saw and they deliver smooth 60fps on my PC. That way, Ubisoft would be more than compensating for any issues.

All demonstrations appear on the PC unless otherwise specified for native console systems. They then adapt that version and, in the case of Ubisoft, they often perform poorly (intentionally or due to sheer laziness). Batman was shown on a PC at E3 for the PS4. It’s likely he’ll run smoothly on a PC since Ubisoft isn’t involved. Certain Xbox titles are tested on PCs, but we don’t own those games. This essentially highlights that development titles seem to function well on PC from Ubisoft, yet fail dramatically when released, especially with Uplay outages at launch. The only clear benefit from the Clancy game is its appearance—suggesting it might not be officially ported by Ubisoft Kiev, who may be sabotaging our AC Unity/Farcry support. [Wikipedia link provided for reference.]

Some Xbox titles are also tested on PC, yet we lack those games. This underscores a pattern: development games often work fine on PC from Ubisoft, but struggle post-launch, coinciding with Uplay downtime.

PCs are usually relegated to lower shelves, tucked beside GTX Titans, while the real action happens elsewhere.

You know that creating your own piece and finding your own sources doesn’t automatically turn it into a news story?
