they never addressed pc gamers with disrespect. It was released in January 2015, and many stores mentioned the 28. I’d rather wait two months for a game than get a flawed one on launch day. Plus, until about a month ago, no one confirmed a PC release, so they didn’t have to do it—they owe us nothing.
All titles (for PC and consoles) are built using PCs. This is why I think it’s completely unfair that Ubisoft isn’t releasing accurate PC versions of their games. Saying they’ll behave the same on consoles as on a powerful gaming PC suggests they’re not delivering true PC experiences. <_<
GTA5 was released nearly a year back. It won’t arrive until well over a year from now. They have nothing to give us, and we have nothing to give them. It’s a two-way situation.
What are you getting at? They never mentioned we were supposed to receive it simultaneously with the 360/ps3 release.
you got all of that from this: I think you're reading into it way too much and there's too much wishfull thinking going on... Don't get me wrong, I like ubisoft games, no one wishes they get their sh*t together about PC games more than me... but you also gotta be realistic. your little wishlist and the answer you got really have absolutely no common ground...
It’s essentially the most repetitive press statement ever made. This isn’t much more than a standard announcement, and it doesn’t deserve a full article.
Typically, most games are tested on PCs, development happens there, you just write the code and compile it while adjusting controls, menus, settings, etc., for console versions. It’s simpler to create a quick demo build on PC and run it locally, rather than transferring it to disks and installing on consoles. If you need to fix bugs or recompile midway, it’s faster to make the change on the active PC instead of moving the updated version to consoles.
