Two GTX 960s could handle Monster Hunter Frontier High Grade Edition and Monster Hunter Online in 1080p smoothly. Running Battlefield 4 at full settings on 1080p should work without problems, maintaining around 60fps. For video/photo editing, it’s a decent option, but not ideal for heavy workloads. Playing Minecraft with Shaders mod and max chunk loading might be challenging due to performance limits.

Take advantage of better deals by choosing a 970 instead of a 9600.

What processor are you using? Still, if it's an i5, you should be able to hit 60 frames per second. Why are there two 960s when a 970 would be more efficient and cost-effective?

Absolutely not, I wouldn't choose the 960 for its cost. I'd opt for a single 980 instead.

It seems you're looking for a high-quality OC version that performs well. There are some issues with 960-s versions—they don't hold up in tests. I’d prefer a 980ti if possible and get it. Even a 980 version would be nice, especially for smooth 1080p at 60 fps.

And two 300 GPUs? That’s a massive investment! A 980 would easily surpass the 2,960 range.

A 980 would likely handle 3 1080p monitors well for gaming and multitasking.

It’s not necessary to rely on many games at high settings; using a more powerful GPU like the GTX 970 or 980 would be better.

It will work. Using only one for gaming gives you a great experience.
