Running on my laptop—also known as Potato?—I’m using an Intel i5 4460 that’s not overclocked yet. This is my first build, and I’m still figuring out the best settings. Do I really need to push it?

Currently, many titles rely on just two cores, but a 3.2 GHz processor should likely handle streaming smoothly.

You won't receive 60fps on Twitch unless you're a highly active streamer. Otherwise, 60 fps won't be possible without a good viewer base.

Are you sure you can stream in 720p at 60 frames per second with just six followers?

You'll need a minimum of six cores or threads—two for streaming and four for gaming—to perform well.

It's feasible though it seems quite unusual, so I suggest watching at 30 fps until you achieve full 60fps support.

However, I can adjust it simply for OBS.

games often need four processing units, such as in BF4 MLL Crisis3. However, for streaming games like MC Dota or Wow, you can leverage four cores too, though you’ll mainly focus on audio, browser tasks, or video rendering—keep antivirus software handy⚠️
