So I took the sticks out and put the new ones in, no boot. They are the same voltage but different speeds. I've trying clearing bios and booting with no sticks, one stick and old sticks and it's still not booting. Idk what to do pls halp

Specifically at 3600 MHz, you'd consider lowering to 3200 MHz. Most Ryzen CPUs, including the 5000 series, struggle to reach that frequency.

Yes, it can work if you reinstall the old RAM correctly.

3600mhz paired with Ryzen 2600 is a solid setup. The 5800x3d looks promising—worth considering for a test build today.

Perhaps RAM isn't the issue after all.

Check if there are options to modify BIOS settings for new stick compatibility. Consider disabling features like XMp. Updated July 13, 2023 by Harflite Extra.

Other potential issues could include loose connections, worn-out parts, or environmental factors affecting performance.

Adjust the RAM speed to 3200mhz if possible, otherwise lower it to 3000mhz. Sometimes Ryzen settings can be tricky with speeds around 3600mhz—worth a shot. If that doesn’t fit the 5800X3D, don’t stress too much.
