Hey, after adjusting the paste and padding and swapping out the fans on my brother's GPU, temperatures stayed elevated (probably because of the subpar cooler). I decided to lower the voltage and keep similar sustained performance. After running several benchmarks, I found 1905MHz at 0.925V was stable and matched or improved over before. Once I restarted it, the curve shifted completely. I saved my settings so it applies on startup, but I’m not sure what caused the change. Maybe it’s related to boost clocks? Keep your curve intact and reload it once the system restarts. Or, ensure Afterburner is enabled during startup... Yeah, seems like you might have missed that step. If you followed it, it's odd but I'll verify with screenshots.

It's typical for the curve to shift slightly. Usually it doesn't affect the outcome much. A few curves perform better, so if it bothers you you might want to try again. By the way, I experienced a different breaking point on my 3060 Edited December 15, 2025 by leclod

delta performs around 13-15°C no matter how it's used, which is fine. The cooler, on the other hand, has a few design flaws that hold in warm air, causing it to get quite hot.

For your 3070 running at 950mV (about 930V), it typically jumps to around 2010 MHz from the stock 1950 MHz and maintains that level. I applied a similar setting to my 5070, but it didn’t make much difference, so I stick with stock settings now—temperatures stay around 59°C.
