Before I reworked and re-padded, the hotspot reached 105°C in Garry’s Mod (couldn’t benchmark because it would overheat). After the repair, repad, and fan replacement, the maximum hotspot dropped to 85–95°C depending on the other game running. Now the undervolt max hotspot stays around 80–82°C. This was verified at full power and temperature limits with a consistent 80% fan curve.
So 1905 with undervolt sounds a bit low but makes sense, as 2060 doesn't boost that high... You should mainly focus on temperatures, which are probably lower than expected, right? Yeah, you'd usually want to lower temps (achieved) more often, though frequency is just extra, especially with older cards not guaranteed... Newer cards tend to get really unstable with undervolt though, lol. Edited December 15, 2025 by Mark Kaine
I understand this doesn't display the highest gain. The peak reached was 1980 briefly, followed by 1960, 1935, then 1920 for five minutes, and ending at 1905.

It looks like the VF curve displays details at a much higher frequency than expected, which raises concerns about stability.
