Hey, I've been attempting to install Windows 10 from a USB drive using the newest ISO for Windows 10 64-bit on the official site. My only functional machine is a MacBook Pro. I tried making the USB bootable in Fat32 and used unetbootin, but the installation failed because the .wim file was larger than 4GB, causing errors about the file not being found. Then I switched to NTFS format, but the Mac didn't recognize it or allow formatting. Now I'm using exFAT since it supports bigger files. After plugging it in, the system detected it via BIOS and booted, but I'm stuck on a black screen with a blinking underscore. Keyboard and mouse don't respond. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Use Windows Media Creation Tool to set up your boot drive for UEFI support. If you're on Mac, format the entire drive as Fat32, then download Windows 10 iOS, run the ISO, and transfer all files to the Fat32 USB drive.

This process isn't straightforward. You can't just paste all the files and assume it will start up.

That's correct. Your approach matched the traditional MBR method for creating a USB boot drive on non-UFE compliant systems. Please ensure you share accurate information.

My second paragraph... I've set the drive format to fat32. Placed the files there. The largest size allowed for fat32 is 4GB, but the install.wim file exceeds that limit, preventing proper installation. I had to use unetbootin to force it in. I also attempted copying each file separately, but that didn't work either.

You're setting up your system on a brand new PC with a Gigabyte X570 motherboard, Ryzen 3700X processor, 1TB M.2 SSD, 2TB Seagate HDD, and the XFX 5700XT.

They adjusted the boot order and noticed a blinking white symbol.
