I’d likely reinstall the BIOS or roll it back. AMD tends to have memory stability issues with AGESA versions, which is why updates aren’t usually suggested unless you’re facing problems or swapping in a new CPU. For a fresh memory setup, opt for Samsung B or Micron Rev B kits—anything else is less reliable. Samsung B dies are typically 3200MHz or higher with flat timings (14-14-14, 16-16-16, etc.), regardless of brand. Micron Rev B includes Crucial Ballistix 16GB and 32GB sticks, both geared toward overclocking but work well with XMP profiles. If you’re serious about memory overclocking, Rev B offers more consistency and ease of use, while solid B dies give better raw performance but are trickier to manage and can be unstable (some kits hit tight timings but struggle with CAS latency). A decent B die kit usually beats a mediocre Rev B kit, though a basic Rev B kit can still match a top-tier B die in certain cases.

The price of a memory kit seems high, even for B die. It’s $240, which is still steep. You should be able to just set the clock to 3600MHz and use 1.5V for DRAM. Check the used market—good kits from B die are affordable these days. You might find a decent one for a very low cost (I bought a Ripjaws V kit for $80, which I downclocked to 3800MHz).

You're currently using that kit, if it bothers you just proceed, considering it's around $240 and similar to the 16-16-16 model. Switching to a CPU upgrade could yield better results for about $300.

I purchased them around Christmas, and the production date was just a few weeks prior, which might explain the favorable timing. The B+W units are also decent, though they don’t reach the same low-end performance or high-speed efficiency. For instance, my Royals can hit 3200 at 12-12-12-28 with 1T and 1.45V, while the B+W models fall short in those metrics.

My 4400MHz CL17 performed best, but the 3200MHz 1.8V model didn’t work well. At 3800MHz it showed good tRCD and tRP at 1.5v.
