Hey there, I'm checking if Royal vs Royal Elite represents just a cosmetic update. I searched but didn't find clear evidence. Both kits look pretty similar, so it seems like a minor visual change. I have two models to compare: G.SKILL Trident Z Royal Series 32GB (2 x 16GB) and G.SKILL Trident Z Royal Elite Series 32GB (2 x 16GB). Regarding the Non-Elite, it should work well with AMD, especially with your B550 Aorus Master and Ryzen 5 3600X. Let me know if you need more details!

The schedule seems a bit flexible (16-19-19). Likely A-Die Samsung kits. (Not completely certain, just a guess) F4-3600C16D-32GTZN (possibly RGB version) and F4-4000C16D-32GTRSA (Royal style). All kits use B-Dies 16-16-16-36.

They all mainly look different, though the Trident Z heatspreader is noticeably better than the Ripjaws version. The "Optimized for AMD" label doesn’t really matter now because most memory kits are compatible with both Intel and AMD. Choose the cheaper option. Any 3600MHz CL16-19-19-39 model will work just fine. With this price range, you can likely find a 3600CL14 kit from another brand that will give similar results.

It was logical when the Ryzen 1st generation launched because there were kits for XMP profiles that rarely functioned on those older chips. But once you moved to Ryzen 3000 and beyond, most of them became pointless.

Initially, most systems showed a weak IMC, similar to the jump from 6700K to 8700K—night versus day. It tends to be less frequent and slower, with higher latency. Motherboard specs also play a role. Even with premium boards that include memory training features, we often don’t reach comparable performance unless we push the Infinity Fabric™ limits before considering board and memory capabilities.

I possess two sets of CMH16GX4M2D3600C18W kits. The version matches exactly as confirmed. They were sent in a row with matching serial numbers. Before updating the BIOS and applying various patches, the system performed flawlessly. I’ve experienced around 10,000 errors during MemTest86 within the first five minutes. Despite this, I attempted to revert everything to the previous state and even performed a clean OS installation. I’m considering rolling back the BIOS just in case, but I wanted to ensure a fully functional upgrade without these issues.
