Hey! Your rig isn't officially supported on W11, but there are options to upgrade. The process involves some risks, so think carefully before proceeding. If you decide to go ahead, you can boot from a USB drive for testing or install the ISO regularly when you mount it.

You're interested in upgrading to Windows 11 because of its new features, improved performance, or better compatibility with your devices.

I'd stick to Win10, honestly. UNless you feel the desire to move to 11, there really is no need yet. I am on it, and it's fundamentally the same as 10. Not missing anything.

I agree. I’d transition to Windows 11 after Windows 10 reaches end-of-life, but there’s no solid reason to change now.

Two of my three PCs are now using Windows 11 Pro, ready for a switch to it on my main machine later. All three satisfy the Windows 11 criteria. It’s not too surprising that Windows 11 isn’t a huge change—I’ve liked Windows 10 since its release.

Keep using Windows 10 only. Version 11 adds too many features that aren’t necessary for your needs.

I share your feelings about Windows 10. It’s great you’re thinking ahead—don’t wait until support ends.

Being prepared is fine, but unless you must, there’s little need. You might also use Rufus to create a bootable installer that removes much of Windows 11, along with skipping TPM and Microsoft account checks.

It depends on what you mean by "operate w11" and "USB bootable copy." If you're referring to modifying the system registry for compatibility, then yes, making changes there should not interfere with creating a USB image. Just ensure the registry edits are correct and safe.

What equipment are you using? Detailed specifications? You seem capable of handling standard bypass needs and an in-place upgrade. I've performed this numerous times successfully.
