It's better to follow the recommended methods and guidelines provided by Microsoft.
Microsoft doesn't back your devices running Windows 11, making it best to continue using Windows 10 or invest in updated hardware. However, I've successfully completed several upgrades while meeting system requirements without problems.
Execute the command to enable unsupported CPU upgrade settings in the registry.
The Rufus technique works well on my two i7-6700 machines. However, a recent news article (hard to locate now) suggested Microsoft might officially permit W11 without TPM. They seem to already allow it, as they released the registry method to install W11 at your own expense.
