I use my computer at my desk for gaming and work, but I enjoy playing single-player games on TV with a controller. My TV is connected via a 10-meter HDMI cable, and my monitor uses DVI. I’m curious if there’s a faster way to switch audio automatically, since pressing Windows key+P moves me to another screen but I still have to manually set the default output to HDMI TV. Can this be done automatically?

I tried it before but I’m not sure how this connects.

It's also possible to do it the old-school way by simply disconnecting one cable and connecting another.

That's what I would do. I don't feel the need to manage hotkeys.

It takes 10 seconds, and you’ll always avoid bending over to unplug cables again.
