I developed the software myself, but some tools like SoundSwitcher and bimd support work well with it, though they didn’t function on certain analog gear. With six audio devices connected to my PC, the overload might have been the issue.

It's also easy to just switch audio playback device from the motherboard or sound card to the Nvidia HD Audio device in the Sound control panel. I think you might be missing the point, though. OP wants a shortcut.
