The stock cooler is designed for normal CPU performance and power consumption, not peak performance or overclocking.
I’m considering the b550 option since it looks like a flexible choice for upgrading later, and I can allocate the b450 with 3600 hours to my wife. The main concern is whether Intel would be a better fit for me. My goal is to hit at least 140 FPS in games and push my 12020 to 1400p with a baseline of 100 FPS.
I concur that the response addressed the comment about everything being okay.
Keyword benchmark results show no impact from stock cooler or PBO at 1080p. B550 also doesn't support Intel.
At 1440p the maximum improvement is around 0%, while the highest gain could reach up to 10%. This depends on the game.
