I possess a 1Gb/s connection at home. My PC downloads up to 35Mb/s when connected via Ethernet to the router. If I disconnect the Ethernet cable from my PC and use it with my laptop, the download speed jumps to 750Mb/s. My motherboard is an ASUS ROG Strix B550-E Gaming WiFi, equipped with an Intel I225-V Revision 3 Ethernet controller known for slow performance. I installed a TP-LINK TX201 network card and drivers, expecting better results, but speeds stayed unchanged. I've tested various drivers and solutions without success. Anyone have suggestions?
