Yeah, this problem is still going on. Is it just because of the game, or do I have to download a new chipdriver from the Ryzen site?

The real issue here is just that your laptop isn't running an AMD chip, so there are no official drivers to fix it. Also, you're not sure which chipset your laptop has. Instead of messing with the wrong stuff, just try updating from Acer and see if that works.

I tried to install it, but it won't go through. They say I already have the right driver installed.

OKay, so bios/drivers & WIndows version are current. right click start choose WIndows Terminal (Admin) if it doesn't open as Powershell, choose the drop down arrow in title screen and select it copy/paste this command into window: Repair-WindowsImage -Online -RestoreHealth and press enter Then type SFC /scannow and press enter Restart PC if SFC fixes any files as some fixes require a restart to be implemented First command repairs the files SFC uses to clean files, and SFC fixes system files SFC = System File Checker. First command runs DISM - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows...windows-11 Just wondering if its windows.

I figured it out, but people keep saying there is no issue at all.

I think it makes sense to ask about Acer, or maybe someone around here could help guide us better. It's all down to Acer, AMD, or Microsoft. You might feel like you're trapped between them.

hi there, i've tried reaching out to amd, microsoft, and acer and they said no way to fix this. They just told me to do a clear tpm. does clearing the tpm delete everything on my hard drive?

if you use bitlocker, things can get a little complicated. I believe that one PIN is all you need to protect it when you log in. If you know your PIN, I think that makes the whole thing safe for data not saved on the TPM itself. Backups are always good just to be sure. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/wi...ip...om-the-tpm I didn't know you could do this from inside windows. It doesn't kill your license key. It's mostly for encrypted keys. I don't see any way to backup your pin

There's fTPM 2.0 (AMD) Intel also has a chipset version of TPM, and then there are TPM modules themselves. When booting up from a sleep state, the TPM modules go through an init process as powered is applied. If they are not ready when the data is requested, you are @#$@#. This should be fixed in a firmware update.
