Yeah, this problem is still going on. Is it just because of the game, or do I have to download a new chipdriver from the Ryzen site?

The real issue here is just that your laptop isn't running an AMD chip, so there are no official drivers to fix it. Also, you're not sure which chipset your laptop has. Instead of messing with the wrong stuff, just try updating from Acer and see if that works.
